Benha University President receives a delegation of experts from the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development

Dr Nasser Al-Gizawy, President of Benha University, stressed that the university's vision and strategy is to identify the evaluation of international organizations and institutions of its activities, and to obtain an external view that contributes to making the most of the available opportunities, to enhance its position in international rankings, and to keep pace with global developments in the field of upgrading higher education systems.

Dr. Tamer Samir, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. El Sayed Fouda, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Gehan Abdelhady, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, received a delegation of OECD experts, headed by Dr. Alan Piak, within the framework of activating the activities of the country program for Egypt.

Dr. Tamer Samir added that the delegation expressed interest in learning about the new study programs offered by the university. In addition to the activities offered by the university to support students and encourage them to innovate. Samir stressed that the university pays great attention to providing a stimulating environment for innovation and entrepreneurship, through training programs and specialized activities aimed at developing students' skills and preparing them for the requirements of the changing labor market.
Dr.Fouda also stressed the role played by the university in supporting and encouraging its affiliates to encourage entrepreneurship and transform innovative ideas into executable projects, in support of the state's orientation towards investing in knowledge and serving the community and achieving its well-being. 

Dr. Gehan Abdelhady said that the visit aims to review higher education policies and link them to education curricula and labour market requirements, in line with the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research and Egypt's Vision 2030. 

Dr Abdel Fattah Monged, Executive Director of the International Relations Office, explained that the cooperation with international organizations contributes significantly to the development of the university's academic and research capabilities and enhances its position on the global arena, which contributes to achieving the university's strategic objectives in the fields of education, scientific research and development.
