The Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) was founded in 1949. A delegation from The Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS)- China visited Benha University BU on Wednesday December 14, 2016- The delegation consists of: Prof. En-ge Wang- Vice President • Prof. Qing-Feng Wang- Deputy Director • Prof. Xi Chen- General Director, Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography • Prof. Wenjiang Liu- Director, Division of Scientific Research and cooperation, Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography • Mr. Shi-Zhuan Zhang- Director, Division of Asian and African Affairs, Bureau of International Cooperation * Mr. Ning Liu- Program Officer Division of Asian and African Affairs, Bureau of International Cooperation • Mr/ Hao Wu- Deputy Director, Division of Scientific research and cooperation Department There is an MoU between BU and CAS. It was signed on 17th November 2014 to develop cooperation in scientific research and promoting scientific and technological exchange between the two sides and establish a formal relationship after approval by their institutional authorities, to conclude this MOU on academic cooperation.
