The participation of Benha University in cooperation meetings with Canadian universities

Within the framework of the university's openness to the world and the implementation of the plan of the International Relations Office in documenting and activating the bonds of cooperation with the various educational bodies in various countries of the world, Benha University participated under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Nasser Al-Jizawy, the acting president of the university represented by Prof. Mahran Al-Najjar, Director of the International Relations Office in cooperation meetings With a number of Canadian universities during  20-22 April 2021 to get acquainted with the scientific and research activities of these universities and within the framework of Benha University's endeavor to improve the level of its graduates and open scientific channels with countries in the developed world.
This came as a result of the reception of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Louis Dumas, Ambassador of Canada in Cairo, last week, at the private education building in New Cairo. Where the two sides discussed opportunities to open new branches for Canadian universities in Egypt, and the Minister praised the experience of cooperation with Canada, stressing the distinction of Canadian universities and the level of study programs they offer and their seriousness in education, explaining that they represent a good alternative for Egyptian families who wish to benefit from Canadian expertise in the field of education from in side Egypt.
The two parties also discussed ways to increase student exchange, and provide short-term scholarships for Egyptian students in Canadian universities, especially in the fields of engineering and science, as well as discuss hosting Canadian faculty members in new universities.
It is worth noting that the meetings were held in cooperation with the Cultural Affairs Sector and the missions to increase the number of envoys in distinguished countries in the fields of various sciences.
