*Exchange Duration:
One semester (2021 Fall Semester: October2021-March2022)
or
One year (2021 Fall and 2022 Spring Semester: October 2021-September2022)

*Deadlines for 2021 Fall Semester Exchange Program:
Nominations: 2021/April/26 by 5:00 PM (Japan Standard Time (JST))
Applications: 2021/May/6 by 5:00 PM (JST)

*Nomination Process:
Before nomination, please make sure the nominations are within the agreed number as written on our academic agreement.

Please submit your nominations using the nomination form (attached excel file) to the following email address:

ryugaku@kuas.kagoshima-u.ac.jp

You will need to fill in the following details for each student: First name; Last name; Date of Birth; Exchange Duration; Email; Gender; Degree; Major.

*Application Process:
Once nominations are approved, we will contact the nominated students (and cc you in) regarding the online application process.

The students will complete the application form and upload all required documents online by 2021/May/6　5:00PM (JST).

     Certificate of Student Registration/Enrollment
     Certificate of Language Proficiency (Japanese or English)
     Passport copy
     ID Photo


*For the postponed 2021 Spring Semester Exchange Students due to the current situation regarding the outbreak of COVID-19, they can join the 2021 Fall Semester Exchange Program. Their nominations and health certificates need to be resubmitted.
Please submit health certificates issued after 1 July 2021 by 26 August 2021.
We will inform your students about the health certificate again around July.
Please note that the number of nominated students for 2021 Fall Semester will be the agreed number as written in our academic agreement.

* If immigration restrictions continue, we can’t help limiting the number of exchange students accepted. In that case, 2021 Spring enrolled students whose admissions were postponed have priority. If admission of students in Fall 2021 is allowed, we require the students to meet the
following conditions:

①The Japanese government permits the entry from the foreign country to Japan by the start of class in October 2021.

②If needed, isolation measures are completed by the start of class in October 2021.

Lodging expenses in a place other than Kagoshima city for isolation must be paid by the student.

* As of today, Fall 2021 exchange programs are expected to run as planned. However, it is sometimes canceled by a judgement of KagoshimaUniversity by the situation.

*This program does not offer scholarships (including JASSO) for exchange students. Please understand that the students have to prepare their own living expenses. They need at least 70,000-80,000yen/month for living in Kagoshima. There is almost no recruitment of a part-time job at present. Benha University will not afford any scholarship expenses for students.

*Admission result will be announced to the home university in the late July.
