Signing Mou with Univesity of Surrey at Day 3 from BU President to UK
On the third day of ElKady visit to UK, he signed MoU with Prof. Michael Kearney (Provost and Executive Vice-President) The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Reem Bahgat, Egyptian Cultural Advisor and Director of the Educational Mission in London, Dr. Ayman Samir Assistant Professor, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Banha University, and Dr. Nigel Perceval, Director of International Relations, University of Surrey. Prof. ElKady pointed out that his visit to The University of Surrey aimed to discuss increasing the exchange of students between the two universities and the exchange of faculty members and the work of partnerships in joint research projects. The visit also succeeded in obtaining 5 scholarships for doctoral study at University of Surrey, to be allocated to outstanding students from Benha University. Dr. Reem Bahgat stressed on the importance of Egyptian international cooperation in the fields of scientific research and student exchange and the work of more joint programs between the Egyptian and British universities and praised the initiative led by the University of Benha to increase cooperation with British universities and openness to international universities and benefit from scientific progress. The Executive Deputy of the University of Surrey expressed his admiration for the University of Benha for its ability to provide the educational service to more than one hundred thousand students in the regular education and sixty thousand students in open education as well as medical services provided by the hospital community where the 1,000 beds and a hundred beds care center and increased surprise when he learned that all These services are provided to citizens free of charge and with the full support of the government.
