Benha University President Prof. ElSayed ElKady received Dr, Dr. Wang Xuancheng the Vice President of Capital University of economics & Business in attendance of Prof. Gamal Ismail Vice President of the University for Community Services and Prof. Hisham Abu El Enin, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research. During the meeting with the delegation of Capital University of economics & Business El Kadi stressed the depth of the Egyptian-Chinese relations and the cultural and historical heritage between the two countries. He said there are common areas of cooperation between Benha University and a number of Chinese universities, mainly the Capital University for Economics and Trade. Prof. ElKady gave brief background about Benha University which has 15 faculties with 5,000 faculty members and their assistants, in addition to 6,000 administrators and 150 thousand students at various educational levels. For his part, Dr. Wang Xuancheng stressed the importance of cooperation between the University of the Chinese capital and the University of Benha in the fields of economics study and the work of joint scientific research between the two universities. He expressed his pleasure to visit the University of Benha, which includes large numbers of students in different stages of university education. Wang Xuansheng stressed the importance of continuous development of the study programs, noting that the University of the Chinese capital sets its scientific and research potential to cooperate with the University of Benha. For his part, Prof. Gamal Ismail, vice president of Benha University for Community Service and Environmental Development, stressed the role played by the community service sector by training students and graduates on the needs of the labor market and entrepreneurship and enabling them to set up their own projects away from government jobs. Prof. Hisham Abu ElEnin, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, said there are 640 graduate programs for students, ranging from two to five years depending on the nature of each course. He added that we are promoting the publication in international journals of advanced scientific status, and we organize an annual competition for the best researchers who publish their research work in international journals
