Visit of Prof. ElSayed ElKady, President of Benha University to The University of Surrey UK, 8-12 May 2017

On the first day of his visit to UK, Prof. ElSayed ElKady President of Benha University, held a series of continuous meetings which started at 9 am and ended at 8 pm with a large number of officials and professors at The University of Surrey. In one of these meetings, Prof. El Kady discussed with the English side the establishment of a specialized center for environmental research, the first of its kind in Egypt. He also discussed the establishment of a program for scientific inventions and marketing. In another meeting, the President of Benha University discussed the preparation of new joint programs between the both universities in the fields of engineering, Business and Veterinary Medicine. ElKady stressed the importance of student exchange between the two universities as well as the exchange of faculty members and partnership in research projects this was confirmed by Dr. Vince Amiri, Vice President of University of Surrey, who welcomed cooperation with Benha University in these fields. In the evening, University of Surrey held an official dinner party for the President of Benha University and its facilities, Dr. Ayman Samir Assistant Professor, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. The meeting was attended by Dr. Marc Mangloa, Executive Director of PGT, Dr. Nagel Perseval, Director of International Partnership at the University, Dr. Prashant Kimar, Professor of Engineering at the University, Dr. Sheriz Asven, Director of Development, On the direct - Head of Department of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and Dr. / Vince Amiri - Vice President for International Affairs
