The establishment of the first Forum of Higher Education between Benha and Jordanian universities

Monday 9/1/2017 Prof. ElSayed ElKady president of Benha University Received Dr. Ghaleb Erekat vice president of Amman Private University and Dr. Saqr Kharabsheh the Manager of Jordanian studies Office, in the presence of Dr. Mahmoud Iraqi, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Dr. Abdullah Saad, director of new software engineering in Shubra and some civil society representatives from peasant union, to discuss ways of scientific and academic cooperation between the two universities. Mr. President stated that the meeting discussed ways to organize Forums of higher education in Egypt and Jordan, in cooperation with Benha University to discuss higher education issues and challenges, scientific research and global rating of universities and new scientific programs in higher education, stressing that the choice of Egypt to make the activities of this forum at its land due to her advanced position in Higher Education among the Arab countries. ElKady assured on the necessity of communication among Arab universities in scientific and research fields to achieve advanced positions in various international rankings, indicating that we welcome the Arab cooperation as a national necessity and an opportunity to exchange experiences among Arab countries
