Within the framework of the cooperation agreement between Benha University and the American University of Louisville, Dr. Gamal Sossa, President of Benha University, received Benha University students who won a three-month training grant at the University of Louisville in Kentucky State in the United States, in order to activate the cooperation protocol between Benha University, the American University of Louisville, and Al-Alamein National University.
This came in the presence of Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Tamer Samir, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Mahmoud Maghribi, supervisor of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, Dr. Mahran ElNagar, Director of the International Relations Office, and Dr. Ahmed Youssef, Director of the Expatriates Unit at the university. .
Gamal Sossa, President of the University, stressed that the university is keen on permanent cooperation with distinguished international universities, and forming partnerships with them, within the framework of Benha University’s policy of openness to the world, noting that Louisville University enjoys an advanced ranking in the world and is one of the leading universities in the United States of America in scientific research.
 Dr. Nasser El Gizawy explained that this grant comes in light of the joint cooperation between the American side and a group of the most prestigious Egyptian universities, which includes an alliance of 5 Egyptian public universities, namely Alexandria, Mansoura, Helwan, Assiut and Benha with the University of El Alamein, in order to establish dual study programs in computer science and bioengineering.
Dr. Tamer Samir added that the study programs through this agreement allow students to complete the first two years of study in Egypt and then travel to the United States of America to complete the study, pointing out that the student may choose after the end of the two years to be transferred to Al-Alamein University to complete the study provided that he obtains Finally got a degree from the University of Louisville
Dr. Mahran El Nagar said that the students were selected after conducting a personal interview to determine their level of English, as well as according to the cumulative assessment of the previous years.
