UASR Global Student Competition 2022: Leadership and Serving the Community

To encourage, support and nurture the young generation to become “global-minded leaders and socially responsible citizens”, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) launches a Global Student Competition themed “Leadership and Serving the Community”. It aims at promoting global leadership and social responsibility in a cross-cultural and boundary-crossing setting, now calling for global applications. 

We sincerely invite the applications from undergraduate students of all UASR member universities for this competition. All student winners will be awarded a “Study Opportunity at PolyU for the Leadership Academy and Service-Learning”.   

Students are required to submit an essay (no more than 1,000 words) or a short video (no more than 5 minutes) showcasing their social commitment and community participation, on either of the following themes for an entry:  

Theme 1 Leadership for Future World 

Submission Deadline 15 April 2022 

Result Announcement By early May 2022 

Theme 2 Serving People with Knowledge 

Submission Deadline1 May 2022 

Result Announcement By early mid-May 2022 

All application materials must be in English. Participants must register through the online Registration Form and send the essay file /video link before the deadline of respective themes.
